Diabetes epidemic on the rise.
New predictions show nearly half of all Hispanic children born in the U.S. in 2000 will develop diabetes, which can lead to blindness, kidney failure, amputation and heart disease. Now, the Florida Hospital Diabetes Center is using a new grant to provide health screenings and education to the Hispanic community. The Seminoles Are Coming!
FSU is coming to Orlando as it launches its new Florida State University Regional Medical School Campus – Orlando.
