Mom Delivers Quadruplets at Florida Hospital Orlando

The babies are two sets of identical twins.

Florida Hospital’s delivery room broke records on Monday April 3, 2006.  Elisa and Anthony Ewing gave birth to quadruplets, the first time since 2002 the hospital delivered quadruplets.

What made this particular delivery even more unique was the fact that the Ewing actually gave birth to two sets of identical twins.

The quadruplets currently in Florida Children’s Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit range in weight from 2 pounds 2 ounces to 3 pounds 11 ounces.  Alexandria, Gabrielle, Hunter, and Preston are all small but healthy and are hoping to go home in five to six weeks.
