The Florida Hospital Neuroscience Institute strives to be at the forefront of neurological medicine and is committed to excellence in education, treatment, research and care of patients with neurological illness and injuries.
This year alone, 50 million Americans will experience a disorder of the brain or nervous system. Common disorders include stroke, brain tumors, Alzheimer's disease, sleep disorders, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, chronic pain, Parkinson's disease and more. At the Florida Hospital Neuroscience Institute, our goal is to help discover neurological problems in their earliest stages, to begin treatment as quickly as possible, and to help patients experience an improved quality of life.
The Florida Hospital Neuroscience Institute (FH NSI) is one of the most comprehensive institutes of its kind in the Southeast, supported by recognized physicians, highly trained health care professionals, technologically advanced diagnostic equipment and treatment facilities, comprehensive rehabilitation programs and clinical research.
Further, the FH NSI treats more stroke patients and performs more neurosurgeries than any other hospital system in the state of Florida.
In 2002 and 2003, FH NSI was the only Central Florida hospital to be recognized by U.S.News & World Report as one of America's Best Hospitals for Neurology and Neurosurgery.
