Florida Hospital Kissimmee Expands, Renovates to Enhance Patient Experience

Patients at Florida Hospital Kissimmee will now have an enhanced patient experience thanks to some big changes at the hospital. Recently, Florida Hospital Kissimmee renovated its Imaging Department, opened a new chapel, and added new patient beds.

• Renovated Imaging Department – Patients receiving Imaging services at Florida Hospital Kissimmee will now feel like they have traveled to the beach with the renovated Ocean View Imaging Department.  The department features beach and ocean murals designed to calm patients and provide a soothing environment for them to receive Imaging services such as CT scans and MRIs.  The department is modeled after Seaside Imaging at Florida Hospital Celebration Health.
• Opened new chapel – Patients, family, and staff at Florida Hospital Kissimmee can now visit a new chapel at the hospital, located near the main entrance.  The new location is more easily accessible than the previous chapel located in the hospital.  The chapel also features a new courtyard.
• Added patient beds – Recently, Florida Hospital Kissimmee added five new medical/surgical beds to the campus, bringing its total patient beds to 65.

BKGRD: Florida Hospital Kissimmee is a 65-bed community-focused hospital dedicated to bringing mission-focused healthcare to residents of Osceola County.  In the future, Florida Hospital Kissimmee will add a new medical office building, patient tower, main entrance, and additional parking.
