Florida Hospital East Orlando Embarks On Major Expansion Sunday February 1, 2004
Expansion will help the hospital keep up with the booming East Orlando community.
The East Orlando community is growing and the need for health care is greater than ever before. FH East Orlando (FHEO) plans to meet these needs with a major inpatient and outpatient expansion and renovation project that will begin this year.
The projects that FHEO has slated are:
• A new patient tower that provides capacity for 120 beds • A new main entrance and lobby • Expanded capacity and technology in cardiopulmonary with a new angio/cath lab • Expansion and renovation of imaging including a new state-of- the-art MRI • Significant expansion for parking • New facilities for an Outpatient Women’s Health Program focusing on comprehensive physician care.
