New Cardiologist Arrives at Florida Hospital Apopka

Florida Hospital Apopka is pleased to welcome a new cardiologist to the hospital, Sualeh Ashraf, M.D.

Ashraf received his bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from Ain-Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, and his pre-med degree from Gordon College in Pakistan.  After graduation, Ashraf completed fellowships in Interventional Cardiovascular Disease, Cardiology, Endrocrinology, and Internal Medicine in the United States.  Ashraf was most recently the Chief of Endocrinology at the V.A. Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.

“Dr. Ashraf brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this position at Florida Hospital Apopka,” said Verbelee Nielsen-Swanson, administrator at Florida Hospital Apopka. “His expertise in cardiology and endocrinology makes him a tremendous asset to our medical staff as well as our patients.  We look forward to having him on our physician staff here so we can continue to meet the cardiology and endocrine needs of the patients in our community.”

Ashraf, a board-certified physician, is professionally affiliated with the American College of Cardiology, the American Medical Association, and the American Board of Internal Medicine.  His office is located in the Florida Hospital Apopka Medical Plaza in Suite 104.  Please call 407/889-1902 to schedule an appointment.
