WHAT: Put on a hard hat and celebrate a construction milestone at Florida Hospital Apopka.  A Topping Off ceremony will highlight the new three-story, 49,000-sq.-ft medical office building and reveal a sneak peek of the new atrium/destination lobby connected to the hospital.  Construction on the new face of Florida Hospital Apopka should be complete this summer. 

BACKGROUND: Florida Hospital Apopka is a 50-bed community hospital that offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services sees approximately 18,700 outpatients, 32,700 emergency patients, and more than 3,200 inpatients annually. 

WHO: Participants will include the Honorable J.W. Arrowsmith, commissioner of the city of Apopka; John Land, mayor of Apopka; and Florida Hospital administrators Lars Houmann, Terry Owen, and Verbelee Nielsen-Swanson.
