Miss Florida 2006 Visits Florida Children’s Hospital Friday February 16, 2007
Florida’s reigning beauty queen is stopping by with her crown to see the little princes and princesses of Florida Children’s Hospital.
WHAT: Miss Florida 2006 Allison Kreiger will visit the pediatric patients at Florida Children’s Hospital to read a story, talk with the children, and take photos. The children will even have a chance to wear the crown!
BACKGROUND: Florida Children’s Hospital is a 138 specialty bed “hospital within a hospital” that allows Florida Hospital to deliver a complete range of dedicated pediatric health services to younger patients, who benefit from the expertise of specialized departments throughout the hospital. Florida Children’s Hospital is served by Kids’ Docs – the largest panel of Pediatric specialists in Orlando. More than 50,000 children are seen at Florida Children’s Hospital each year.
