Renowned Artist Gives His Hearts to Sick Children at Florida Children’s Hospital Thursday March 2, 2006
Luis Sottil will paint with children today at 2 p.m. in the Florida Children's Hospital.
WHAT: The vibrant and dramatic paintings of Mexican-born artist Luis Sottil grace dozens of galleries in the United States and Mexico. And on March 2, he will begin some new works of art with children being treated at Florida Children’s Hospital. Sottil will work with the children in the hospital to draw and then paint their very own hearts on a canvas. Sottil will then take the paintings back to his studio and complete them by adding his finishing touches. Later, they will be auctioned off to raise money for philanthropic programs at Florida Hospital as well as Luis Sottil’s Foundation.
