Pediatric Patients at Florida Children’s Hospital Celebrate Spring with Indoor Egg Hunt Tuesday March 11, 2008
David Maus is known around Central Florida for selling Toyotas and Volkswagens, but on Tuesday he is planning an afternoon of spring fun for patients at Florida Children’s Hospital.
WHAT: Maus and a group of volunteers are holding a craft event and egg hunt in the hospital halls for patients at Florida Children’s Hospital who might otherwise miss the outdoor spring tradition. Be there to see these patients hunt through the halls for eggs!
BACKGROUND: Florida Children’s Hospital is a 138 specialty bed “hospital within a hospital” that allows Florida Hospital to deliver a complete range of dedicated pediatric health services to younger patients, who benefit from the expertise of specialized departments throughout the hospital. Florida Children’s Hospital is served by Kids’ Docs – the largest panel of pediatric specialists in Orlando. More than 50,000 children are seen annually, and one of every two Central Florida residents chooses Florida Hospital as their health care provider.
