Florida Children's Hospital is a “children’s hospital within an adult hospital.” It prides itself on the special healing environment designed just for children. The hallways look like nature trails and there’s a playroom with games. There’s also an underwater play area – for fish. And if you see any furry creatures wandering around, don’t stomp them. They’re part of our Pet Therapy program.
In the last year alone, Florida Hospital:
- delivered nearly 10,000 babies
- treated 12,000 kids in our Children’s Emergency Center
- took care of over 28,000 youngsters in our Centra Care Walk-In Medical Centers
