WHAT: The American College of Gastroenterology reports more than 95 million Americans experience some kind of digestive problem. Florida Hospital’s Digestive Health Centers treat thousands of these patients every year. And now, the Florida Hospital Digestive Health Centers, which have been recognized by US News & World Report as one of the top hospitals in the nation for Digestive Disorders, are sponsoring their first ever Digestive Health Symposium, Digest This: Everyday GI Topics for the Primary Care Provider. The conference will cover topics ranging from irritable bowel syndrome to colon cancer screening. WHO: Florida Hospital doctors lead by Dr. Philip Styne, MD, Medical Director Florida Hospital Digestive Health Centers, will host the symposium attended by primary care providers including Family Medicine, GYN, and Internal Medicine physicians, nurse practitioners, and physicians assistants from all over the state.
