The Florida Hospital Diabetes Center is the first and largest nationally recognized education program in Central Florida. The Center has been conducting clinical research since 1993 and employs some of the most well-known Diabetes physicians in the country.
The mission of the Diabetes Center is to prevent the development of diabetes, promote the early detection of diabetes and to reduce the impact of diabetes and diabetes complications on peoples lives utilizing a team approach. The health care team consists of registered nurses and registered dietitians who are certified diabetes educators, and exercise specialists, pharmacists, and social workers.
