Florida Hospital Makes Valentine's Day Heart Care Announcement

Plans about the future of heart care in Central Florida to be revealed.

WHAT:    This Valentine’s season, you can hardly escape the heart-shaped symbols that line card aisles, flower shops, and balloon stores.  But what about your real heart, the most important organ in your body?  Over the past 35 years, Florida Hospital has earned a national reputation as a leader in cardiac care.  Each year we treat more heart patients than any other hospital in the nation, and perform more open-heart surgeries than any other hospital in Florida.  Our team is also advancing cardiac medicine through participation in cardiac research studies that give heart patients access to the most advanced therapies before they are readily available to the public.

Florida Hospital has chosen the eve of Valentine’s day, when hearts are on everyone’s minds, to make a major announcement about the future of heart care and health care in our community.  Florida Hospital will reveal plans that will change the landscape of Central Florida at An Affair of the Heart.
